Magister Gardens is located on the outskirts of the town of Alaior, known as the most authentic on the island. The property is only a 10-minute walk from the lively village center, where you’ll find restaurants, bars, cafés, bakeries, and shops. The elegant capital of Menorca, Mahon (or Maó), is just a 20-minute drive away. Son Bou Beach is a 7-minute drive, while the coastal trails of Cami de Cavalls are about 20 minutes away. Its central location on the island provides easy access to beaches on both the north and south coasts.

Discovered in December 2012, the property, locally known as Clot d’en Magister, is a former manor built on the site of a disused sandstone quarry. The main house, backed against one of the quarry walls, faces west to take advantage of the sunset.

The listed and fully restored property spans a terraced plot of 2.5 acres, surrounded by lush and rural Mediterranean landscapes. This elegant country residence can accommodate up to eight people, offering four bedrooms and three bathrooms. On the ground floor, a bright and spacious living room features comfortable sofas, a television, and a fireplace. This room opens onto a patio and gardens through large glass doors. The fully equipped kitchen opens to a welcoming dining area. A guest bathroom is also available on the ground floor. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with a double bed, access to a terrace, and an en-suite bathroom. Two additional bedrooms, each equipped with two single beds, share a family bathroom. The top floor houses a second master bedroom, complete with a private terrace and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

The decor, in a chic countryside style, combines natural wood and stone for an elegant yet understated ambiance where nature takes center stage. A barbecue, outdoor shower, and stone pool with lounge chairs complete the space, surrounded by enclosed and secluded gardens. Private and secure parking is also available in the park adjacent to the house.
