Hotel Julien is located in the historic center, in the heart of Antwerp’s old town. Hotel Julien is the brainchild of Mouche Van Hool, who is passionate about interior design. Nestled in two 16th-century properties, the hotel has been lovingly restored, with authentic elements naturally combined with contemporary furniture to provide maximum comfort.
Behind the historic façade, surrounding a peaceful inner courtyard, the hotel consists of 21 rooms divided into five categories. Spacious and serene, they feature modern and minimalist designs, clean lines, light wood, creamy neutral tones, designer furniture, and luxurious limited-edition photographs from Gallery 51, creating a warm atmosphere. The rooms are equipped with heavenly beds, customized Egyptian percale linens, and plush down pillows for a restful sleep. The Dreamer and Experience rooms are located under the original exposed wooden beams. The Terrace Experience room has a sunny terrace with a dreamy view of the cathedral. The bathrooms, clad in Carrara marble, are furnished with soft, plush towels to snuggle into after a relaxing rain shower or a luxurious bath with our Maiwe skincare products.
Hotel Julien offers a continental breakfast. The elegant bar serves drinks throughout the day and evening. The bar/lounge offers light meals made with the best regional products. Relax by the open fire with a newspaper or enjoy a cocktail before dinner in a chic, comfortable setting. The rooftop terrace provides an unparalleled view of the cathedral. After a long day of exploring all that Antwerp has to offer, the spa is the perfect place to relax. Located in what was once the cellar of this house, this vaulted sanctuary features a hammam, a hot stone table, an ice fountain, and a sauna, with treatments using Maiwe products.
