The Hoxton Lloyd: Hotel in Amsterdam
The Hoxton is opening its second address in August 2023 in the Dutch capital, in the heart of the Eastern Docklands.
A bold design concept
The Hoxton Lloyd is located in the Eastern Docklands district, which is home to a laid-back community attracted by green spaces, water views and a vibrant arts scene. The hotel is nestled in a landmark originally built by the Royal Dutch Lloyd Shipping Company in 1921. The interiors were created by Ennismore’s AIME Studios in collaboration with local design firm Nicemakers. Original elements have been preserved such as stained glass, woodwork and tiles. The bold design concept continues in all rooms, where a warm palette of corals, reds and ochres are juxtaposed with cool blues and grays – a nod to Lloyd’s maritime connections.
