A unique mountain escape
Eliza Lee One is a holiday apartment for rent, located in the heart of Jindabyne, a village in New South Wales, on the shores of Lake Jindabyne, in the eastern Snowy Mountains of the Australian Cordillera.
The apartment was completely renovated in 2018 by Karla & Andrew, the owners, to provide a luxury escape in the mountains. The apartment can accommodate up to 7 people. It consists of a comfortable open-plan living room with a slow-burning wood fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a stone benchtop that will meet even the most discerning chef’s requirements, a dining space, three bedrooms, two bathrooms with a rain shower, and an oversized freestanding bathtub, underfloor heating, and Ashley & Co toiletries. A few steps separate the living space on one side from the sleeping area on the other side. The apartment has a private balcony with a barbecue, offering great views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Downstairs is a double closed garage with additional storage space. There is also a third bathroom, a laundry room, and a drying room. The interiors, inspired by the alpine location, are bright, elegant, and minimalist. They feature light and neutral tones, white walls, beamed ceilings painted white, and light wooden floors. The style blends harmonious Scandinavian, Australian contemporary, and modern design. We find in the decoration of wooden furniture, textured throws and cushions, fabric headboards, many frames with beautiful posters, designer accent lamps, a wicker armchair, dried flowers, and many carefully selected accessories. Large floor-to-ceiling windows in the living space let in natural light and offer an unobstructed view of nature. The atmosphere is cozy and warm.
Surrounded by spectacular scenery and just a short drive from Kosciuszko National Park, Eliza Lee One is the perfect escape any time of the year, both in summer and in winter.
