Briig Boutique Hotel is located in the center of Split, just a ten-minute walk from Diocletian’s Palace and right next to the famous sandy Bacvice Beach.
Opened in 2020, the Briig hotel is an urban hotel that surprises with its bold, modern and strong architecture, designed by Damir Rako and Maja Tedeschi. The Briig Hotel is built as an irregular geometric white cube with asymmetrical lines in which the spaces wrap around a central light atrium. The spectacularly designed atrium features sharp irregular angles, original designer furniture and lighting, stone from northern Italy, posters by Boris Bućan, graphics by Julius Knifer and installations by Aleksandar Srnec. The atrium is inspired by Japanese artist Noguchi and his famous fractured paper lamp. The lobby is dominated by an impressive spiral staircase made of steel with a semi-matte finish, which is a true work of art. A square opening, located in the middle of the building, rises to the glass roof at the top, and connects the interior corridors and the rooms located on five floors.
The hotel has 59 spacious and comfortable rooms furnished in a contemporary style. In addition to superior design and comfort, all rooms have a magnificent view of the Adriatic Sea to the south and a view of the green park to the north. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows connect the interior and exterior perfectly. Two luxurious apartments are located on the top floor, each with its own jacuzzi and green terrace.
The ground floor is a fluid social space comprising a comfortable living room with a fireplace, furniture of classic Scandinavian design, numerous books and magazines from the world, a central bar, and a restaurant with a floor composed of an assemblage of 14 different types of marble. There is also a large outdoor terrace ideal for relaxing with the scent of Mediterranean herbs and the sound of the waves.
The hotel’s rooftop pool and spa offers a sauna and various types of massages. There is also a well-equipped fitness room.
