The Gatzara Suites hotel is located in the charming little village of Santa Gertrudis, in the heart of the hinterland of Ibiza, in the Balearics.

The hotel was previously an old house which has been completely renovated by two local Spanish brothers.

The word “Gatzara” means abundance and joy. The interiors, minimalist and uncluttered, have been designed with natural materials, modern objects, large spaces, and lots of natural light, especially through the atrium and a spectacular green wall. Recycled wood balconies, hanging chairs and a log fire add charm to this contemporary hotel. Details such as the brightly colored murals and geometric patterned cushions make the neutral color palette stand out.

The 20 suites are divided into 4 categories. They’re all decorated with muted cream and white palettes, and with bolder touches of pretty printed cushions. Sparkling gold-effect lamps hang from the ceilings, while patterned rugs add a touch of Art Deco elegance. Some suites have a seating area for reading and relaxing. The bathrooms are spacious.

Breakfast is served on the patio.

The hotel offers a rooftop with a swimming pool and a bar, where you can admire the sunset and the surrounding panoramic view.
