Little Green Bay: Guesthouse in Hvar
Set on the edge of a crystal clear cove on the island of Hvar, Little Green Bay is an intimate guesthouse that provides luxury, relaxation, and authenticity.
A little Croatian paradise
On the island of Hvar, Little green bay is an exclusive hideaway nestled on the bay of Lozna.
Originally an old fisherman’s house from the 1950s that became an abandoned boarding house, the building was renovated and transformed after 2 years of work by Julie and Mathieu, French expatriates and brother and sister, both having a background in hospitality and design.
Opened in 2016, Little Green Bay considers itself a non-hotel rather than a guesthouse. In a peaceful and green setting with pine trees and scrubland, the location and nature become one. The white stone facades conceal wooden structures, smooth polished concrete interiors, large windows for indoor/outdoor living, earthy tones, minimalist design, wicker lampshades, linen textiles, and stone sinks, with special attention to detail.
Little Green Bay offers 15 light-filled, open-air rooms with views over the Adriatic Sea or the herb garden. Some rooms have a terrace, balcony, private pool, or an outdoor shower.
For dining, the bistro offers two spaces, one inside, with an intimate and cozy mood, and one outside with a sea view. On the menu you’ll find simple and tasty Mediterranean cuisine with local products mixed with aromatic herbs from the garden. On the hill just above the bay, the outdoor spa is equipped with a jacuzzi and outdoor treatments.
The private beach and its crystal-clear warm water invites you to take a swim, enjoy the sun, or practice water activities with the equipment made available to guests (paddles, masks, snorkels, fins, kayaks, giant floats).
The experience is novel, refreshing, and revitalizing.
