In a region made famous for practicing kitesurfing, 10 km from Jericoacoara, in the fishing village of Guriú, in between sand dunes and mangrove swamps, stands the Casa Uca hotel. This hotel was imagined by Laura, a French expatriate living in Brazil.

Casa Uca takes its name from the little crabs that inhabit the region. Its unique location at the mouth of a river makes it accessible only by boat, depending on the rythm of the tide. The hotel offers its guests a unique energy drawn from the exuberant nature that surrounds it, a slow life atmosphere, ultra-relaxed, and in complete harmony with its surroundings. The hotel offers 6 luxurious suites with a minimalist design, designed with raw materials and natural tones, to better camouflage into this preserved landscape. Each room is very comfortable and decorated in a mix of wood, concrete, and premium cotton bed linens. Each room also has a terrace, offering a breathtaking view of the sea and the river. The bathrooms are equipped with Italian-style showers and exclusive welcome products made locally.

For dining, Casa Uca and its chef Maíra Knox offer a menu with inventive contemporary dishes inspired by fresh, local and seasonal products that change regularly. The restaurant, open from breakfast to dinner, also offers tapas and cocktails served all day long at the beach bar. Casa Uca has a large swimming pool with a view facing the sea and the breathtaking scenery, surrounded by a wooden deck and areas to sunbathe.
