La Maison Fernand is located in the historic center of the city of Bordeaux, at the junction of the Saint-Paul and Saint-Pierre districts.
Maison Fernand was taken over in March 2021 by Cléo and Ahmed, also founders of the Hobo Club concept, a collection of committed hybrid places. Maison Fernand is an old 18th-century family house which has been completely renovated. The harmonious and cozy decoration of the house, tastefully curated, perfectly combines old elements such as Bordeaux stone and fireplaces, with antique furniture, local artists’ creations and floral elements, all with a touch of modernity.
La Maison Fernand has 4 unique rooms including 2 suites of 45 sqm. Each room is as unique as the other and is decorated with carefully curated objects, providing an intimate setting and a travel experience. The Oh Georges room, bearing the name of the nearby street, rue du Pas-Saint-Georges, is characterized by its minimalist design combined with warm tones of color. The HeyJames room in reference to the rue Saint James, offers a warm atmosphere with raw materials. The Rosa Bonheur suite with its private balcony, is a tribute to the famous painter Rosa Bonheur with velvet, shades of pink, and floral and natural touches. As for the Philomène suite, inspired by Philomène Lafargue, it displays deep colors and rich textures for a cozy atmosphere. Each suite has its own bathroom.
Breakfast is made with fresh produce and is either served in the room in winter or on the terrace in summer. The furnished patio overlooking the small Fernand Lafargue square is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a relaxing moment in the Bordeaux sun. The house has no communal spaces inside.
