Villa L66 is a vacation rental house, located in an area called Brejos da Carregueira de Cima, in the countryside of Herdade da Comporta, a very tranquil and rural location, surrounded in lavender and rosemary-scented pine woods and rice fields. Close to the villages of Carvalhal and Comporta. The region of Comporta is a Portuguese seaside resort known for its laidback hippie vibe, gorgeous beaches, and virgin nature.
Completed in 2017 by the Portuguese architecture studio, Pereira Miguel Arquitectos, the house nestled on a plot of 600 sqm can accommodate up to 6 people very comfortably. The property comprises two separate units, a whitewashed cement main house and a wooden cabin with a thatched roof, echoing the traditional fishermen’s huts in the area. The main house includes a living space with a living room, a mezzanine accessible by a ladder, a kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook, a dining area with a dining table, a bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with a mezzanine and two single beds that can be combined, and two bathrooms with a rainfall shower. The cabin, independent but close to all the services of the house, has a double bedroom and a bathroom. The living area has floor-to-ceiling windows, and sliding wooden doors that open to an outdoor area. This space consists of a terrace connecting the two volumes, a seating area, an outdoor dining table, a barbeque area, and a swimming pool. Contemporary interiors feature smooth concrete floors, white walls and sloping ceilings. Decor tends to be white and minimalist, with just a few touches of wood and elements of natural fibers. Thanks to the many openings in all the rooms, the interiors are bathed in light. Simple, functional and cozy, this is how the rooms in the house are. The atmosphere is warm. Ideally located, Villa L66 is a perfect home for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
