Villa Arjuna is a holiday house for rent located on a quiet street in Kuta Utara district, in the heart of Canggu, one of the trendiest coastal towns in Bali, Indonesia.

Villa Arjuna is owned by the Australian couple Lena Catterick and her partner Carlo Letica. Lena is the designer and founder of the Yoli + Otis lifestyle brand, inspired by a discovery of an organic cotton farm in Gujarat, India. Villa Arjuna was an abandoned empty house that they renovated and completed in 2017. The house previously belonged to Alex Neito, a Spanish architect who built the house of his dreams but never lived there.

The house can accommodate up to four adults and two children. Spread over two levels, the house consists of an open-plan living room, a dining area, an open kitchen, a large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, offering great privacy, on the ground floor. A staircase leads upstairs where there are two other interconnected bedrooms (the master bedroom and a children’s bedroom which has a single bed and a cot), and a bathroom. The upstairs rooms have a balcony offering views of the nearby rice fields and local houses. The living space, without curtains and bathed in light, has bifold doors that open out to the garden fringed in Arabian jasmine and to the turquoise pool, at the rear of the house. Bentwood lounge chairs under the bamboo pergola invite you to relax. Inspired by local Bali style and Scandinavian minimalist decor, interiors feature white walls, natural materials and fibers, and lots of wood. The color palette is neutral, punctuated by some blues and greys. Jute rugs, linen bedlinens, baskets, rattan suspensions, a wooden table and chairs, a custom-made teak bench topped with handmade white and sandy linen cushions, ceramics, offer a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Airport pick-up, daily cleaning, and gardening services are included in the stay.

Ideally located in an area filled with many cafes and shops, Villa Arjuna is ideal for exploring all that Canggu has to offer.
