The River House is a holiday house for rent located in the Perenenan jungle, just steps from the crashing ocean waves, and minutes from the hustle and bustle of trendy Canggu, on the West coast of Bali.

The River House is part of the River House Group collection of exquisite villas. Completed in 2019, The River House is a structure including a two-unit complex, designed by German architect Alexis Dornier, based in Bali. Surrounded by lush rice fields, a forest of palm trees, banana trees, and a river from which it takes its name, the 390 m2 house can accommodate up to 10 people. The house is accessible by a private entrance. The house is divided into two areas: the common areas on the ground floor and the private areas upstairs nestled in a cubic volume. The River House consists of a living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a massage room, and a roof terrace. A vast roof garden which is accessible through the central atrium that is covered by a large skylight. Outside there is a wooden terrace, a dining area, a 25 m long and narrow swimming pool, and a lawn space surrounded by palm trees. The River House offers modern architecture and clean contemporary lines. Perfectly integrated into its environment, the house is built with reclaimed wood providing a very warm and cozy appearance, combined with and locally sourced sandstone. The house pays homage to the traditional building culture of the region. Glass is also very present, allowing natural light to enter and be closely linked to nature. Interiors are minimalist and spacious, decorated with designer furniture and carefully selected artwork. Large windows in the bedrooms offer great views way above ground, which capture sunsets above coconut trees. Staff is available to make your stay more pleasant.
