The Greenhouse Loft is an apartment for rent located in the lively Porta Venezia district, just a 10-minute walk from the Duomo Cathedral, in Milan.

The Greenhouse Loft was designed by famous London designer Ilse Crawford and her architect husband Oscar Pena for Costanza Cecchini the owner with a passion for interior design. The space was a former garage and laundromat which has been completely redesigned and transformed into comfortable and contemporary accommodation resembling a sort of winter garden.

Completed in 2017, the 40 m2 apartment can accommodate up to 4 people. It consists of an open plan living room with a double sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a bathroom with a huge shower, a large bedroom with a double bed, and a leafy courtyard at the rear of the apartment. The minimalist and bright interiors feature smooth concrete floors, white walls, rustic wooden beams on the ceilings, factory style glass doors, combined with a color palette dominated by emerald green and the presence of many decorative plants. The main decorative element are the walls clad in emerald green Moroccan zelliges in the living room and the bathroom, which have given the apartment its name. Large windows flood the rooms with natural light all day. The apartment is filled with designer furniture, part of which (dining table, benches, stools, pendant light) comes from the Sinnerlig Ikea x Ilse Crawford collection, highlighting natural materials and cork. The kitchen has white furnishings, a Carrara marble countertop and brass handles. In the bedroom, a large open metal wardrobe with lots of storage allows you to unpack your luggage and really feel at home during your stay. The decoration is constantly evolving with many selected works of art and accessories. Every design element, from the colour on the walls to the choice of furniture, is the result of long research to create a warm and functional space.
