Settle is a six accommodation property for rent individually, in an area of the English countryside called Breckland, in South Norfolk.
Settle was founded by British couple Jo and John, passionate about upcycling. Surrounded by 30 acres of nature, ancient trees, lakes, and magnificent views, Settle offers several types of accommodation, including a cabin, three railway goods carriages, and two safari tents, each accommodating up to two people. The cabin, nestled by the water lily lake, was handcrafted. It offers an open-plan living space, a living room with a large modern wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, a large bedroom with a King-size bed, and a luxury bathroom with a large minimalist shower and a free-standing bathtub. Mid-century furnishings mix effortlessly with Scandinavian touches throughout. The exterior hosts a covered seating area and a dining area with a wood-burning stove, and a private wood-fired bathroom with a view of the lake installed in 2021. The three carriages saved (carriage 1, carriage 2, carriage 3), offer a lounge area near a wood-burning stove, a well-equipped kitchen, a sleeping area with an elevated King-size bed and plenty of storage under the bed, a comfortable bathroom, and a terrace with a fire pit, and outdoor seating and dining options, overlooking a scenic lake. The tastefully restored interiors using reclaimed materials combine modern and rustic objects. The two tents (tent 1 and tent 2) in luxury canvas, with a vintage-inspired interior, allow you to stay even closer to nature. Each tent has a double wooden bed, a real mattress, a power supply, a terrace with sun loungers, an outdoor table, and a fire pit. A shared shower room and outdoor kitchen nearby are available.
