Saint Helena is a contemporary beach studio rental set in the seaside town of Byron Bay.

Rented since August 2020, the Saint Helena studio is located on the famous Bangalow Road in the seaside town of Byron Bay.

Saint Helena joins the three residences – each with their own private entrances and amenities – that make up the Joints in Byron property. The ensemble is operated by Jimmy Lyell, and his wife Chelsea Waddell. The architectural vision, helmed by Jimmy, was brought to life by a local building team, Backspace Building Co.

The studio, bright with large openings and a pair of skylights that bring in the morning sun, features an open and minimalist design. The space includes a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a calming bedroom separated by glass doors and long curtains, a spacious and modern bathroom with a double shower head, and quality fittings and accessories. The studio has a private furnished outdoor wood terrace. In an industrial style, the interiors showcase steel-framed doors, polished concrete floors, wooden beams, a soothing palette of white and muted tones, contrasted by contemporary design furnishings, wood and rattan furniture, a mix of old and new objects. Bringing personal and communal accommodation together, Joints in Byron offers the option to the guest of retreating to its private oasis or meeting people in a common outdoor space. Lined with tropical plants and trees designed by Fig Landscapes, the garden includes a veggie garden and a fire pit inviting people to gather. It is possible to borrow a surfboard or a bicycle for an excursion.

The on-site host is available to share their local knowledge and recommendations, as well as to assist with anything else you may need during your stay.
