Mountain House is a holiday mountain chalet for rent, located 900 m from the ski slopes of La Clusaz, on the heights of the hamlet of Manigod, facing the Aravis mountain range, in the French Alps region.

The chalet was completed in 2017 by architect Alireza Razavi from the Razavi Architecture studio. With a surface area of 200 sqm spread over three levels, the chalet can accommodate up to 14 people. The common areas are placed on the top floor of the chalet, including a living room with fireplace, a dining area with a large raw oak table and two large benches, a fully equipped matt black kitchen, and a covered terrace. This large living space benefits from a large bay window framing the snowy landscape outside, and offers a breathtaking view of the mountains. The first floor hosts 5 bedrooms with a built-in closet, and 3 bathrooms, one with a bathtub. 3 bedrooms face Mont Charvin. The ground floor includes the entrance, a room equipped to store and dry ski clothes, a large dormitory with 4 beds and a rest area, a bathroom with a shower, a small linen room equipped with a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

With its wooden facade, the chalet was built by rethinking in a resolutely modern way the codes of traditional Savoyard housing. Inside, the walls are wrapped in wood panels for a comfortable and warm atmosphere. The decoration features shades of grey, furniture chosen with passion, designer pieces such as a pair of Spanish chairs by Borge Mogensen, the famous Flag Halyard armchair by Hans Wegner, a two-armed wall lamp by Serge Mouille, a coffee table by Roger Capron, the comfortable Hay sofa… In all rooms, particular care has been taken with the bedding: enveloping mattresses, cotton satin bed linen, wool and silk throws and cushions. The chalet is equipped with underfloor heating, a sauna, a home cinema, and a barbecue.

In this highly preserved Alpine valley, Mountain House is a place where it is good to relax, in all seasons.
