La Maison Marrakech: Riad in Marrakech

Far from mass tourism, the Riad La Maison Marrakech is the perfect refuge to stay and discover the medina.

Book La Maison Marrakech

A charming oasis of peace

The Riad La Maison Marrakech is located in the eastern part of the medina, in the most authentic Bab Aylan district, known for its fruit, vegetable and other street vendors market, far from mass tourism. It takes 15-20 minutes on foot to reach the main square Jma El Fna, passing through the colorful labyrinth of souks.

The dar – local term for a small riad, is owned by designer Nicole Francesca Manfron, creator of the concept The Secret Souk and who lives in Marrakech for half the year. Renovated and transformed in 2009, La Maison Marrakech was tailor-made, fusing the best of Moroccan craftsmanship in a bohemian and industrial aesthetic. The riad is a traditional Moroccan house organized on an area of 280 sqm and three levels, with a central courtyard and rooms distributed around it. The ground floor has a patio with a 4×2 m refreshing plunge pool, a living room, a dining room, an open kitchen, and a small bedroom with a bathroom. An open staircase in the patio leads to the first floor, where there is a winter garden, and two other suites, each with a bathroom. The last level is a rooftop divided into two areas, with a lounge area, an outdoor fireplace, a dining area, sunbaths, surrounded by potted cacti and palm trees. The roof top allows you to sleep under the stars on hot summer nights. Different from most other riads, the eclectic decoration feature natural and soft colors, cement tiles, Moroccan tadelakt plaster, metal, glass, wood, raffia, unique pieces, wool rugs, handmade blankets and cushions, and palm tree baskets. A generous breakfast is served in the morning.

La Maison Marrakech is a haven for friends, world travelers, design lovers, creatives, gourmets and adventurers.

It is the perfect place to settle in and experience the real buzzing local daily life.
