Casa Areca is a vacation rental house, located in the Tulum jungle, in the quiet and secure residential area called Aldea Zama, just minutes from the white sandy beaches, the vibrant local town, Mayan ruins and the cleansing cenotes. Aldea Zama is one of the safest residential areas of Tulum, with a security guard at the entrance. The neighborhood has restricted access to non-residents.

Completed in 2020, Casa Areca was designed by award-winning architects at Co-Lab Design Office. Nestled in lush vegetation, Casa Areca is designed according to an open house concept that blurs the lines between inside and outside. Spread over two levels, the house can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. The ground floor consists of an open plan with a fully equipped kitchen flowing to a dining room and living room. The space has floor-to-ceiling rotating and sliding glass doors that open fully to the exterior, pool, and outdoor shower, so you can enjoy both spaces at the same time. There is also a half bathroom, as well as a full utility room with a washing machine and dryer. The upper floor has four bedrooms (2 bedrooms with king-size bed, and 2 other with queen-size bed), each with a walk-in closet and private bathroom with bathtub or shower. The bedrooms all include large windows with tropical views allowing for sunlight to travel throughout the day. The roof terrace is set up for outdoor yoga sessions, for daytime sunbathing, for breathtaking views, or for watching the sunset in the jungle. The rooftop also houses the sun panels that help us power the house more consciously. Interiors feature furniture and accessories handmade by local artisans in wood or natural textures. The house is equipped with air conditioning, a barbecue, wifi, and an audio system.
