Almóada – Eclectic Boutique holiday home is located in the rural countryside of São Brás de Alportel, in the heart of the Algarve in southern Portugal. The beautiful golden sand beaches are about half an hour’s drive away.
This typical house with solid traditional clay walls has been completely transformed by Ricardo, the owner, into a unique refuge with original decoration. Home is a timeless destination, a perfect place to relax, and enjoy slow living and simple luxury in a comfortable, tranquil setting.
The tastefully designed house can accommodate up to 8 people. The house has a comfortable living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, four double bedrooms and three bathrooms. the rooms are divided into a suite with a private bathroom, two rooms with a shared bathroom and an additional suite in an adjoining annex building connected with the main house, but with its own entrance.
The interiors feature an eclectic style with vintage furniture, knick-knacks, cheerful colors, recycled materials and artwork. The atmosphere in Almóada is intimate, bohemian and relaxed. The owners have paid attention to every detail of the house, providing luxurious bath products by Lousani Luxury Amenities & Árvore de Sabão, high-quality towels and linens, board and card games for entertainment, a selection of books in several languages and a system portable audio with a lounge playlist.
Outside, there is a lush garden, numerous places to enjoy the calm and the sun, shaded pergolas ideal for outdoor lunches and dinners, and an outdoor bed for resting. There is also a heatable plunge pool, an honesty-bar with portuguese beverages, an exquisite wine-cellar and a boutique.
