The Weisses Kreuz Hotel is located at an altitude of 1,200 meters, in the heart of the historic center of Burgeis (Burgusio), in the magnificent Venosta Valley (Vinschgau), South Tyrol, Italy.

Weisses Kreuz, which means “White Cross,” has been owned by the Theiner family for six generations. Today, it is managed by Mara and her partner Marc, a Chef. A synonym for relaxing holidays, this unique hotel perfectly blends history and modern architecture across its four buildings.

An adults-only hotel, where relaxation is offered without distractions: a true escape from family hustle and daily stress. Time slows down, the rhythm of life relaxes, and everyone can find their balance. A haven of serenity, the hotel is ideal for peaceful moments, unforgettable experiences, and thrilling adventures in nature. The establishment welcomes wellness enthusiasts aged 14 and older.

The main building, dating back to 1871, offers modern lofts, where wood dominates to provide comfort and elegance. The Loftsuite Valeta, spanning 55 m², charms guests with its sloped ceilings, exposed beams, freestanding bathtub, and private balcony. The second building, 800 years old and listed as a historic monument, is known as the Mansion zum Löwen (Lion’s Residence). Carefully renovated in 2013 by architects Stefan Marx and Elke Ladurner, it features 10 unique historic suites in a timeless atmosphere. The third building, designed in 2013 by the same architects, boasts a distinctly contemporary style, with a façade of immense windows. The suites, with high ceilings and refined oak floors, include private balconies. No matter the room type, each is a romantic retreat where historical charm and modern comfort blend seamlessly, achieving the perfect harmony between old and new.

Since 2022, the four buildings have been connected to offer a unique experience: Mamesa. Six tables. Five senses. An infinite array of surprising flavors, textures, and interpretations. Welcome to Mamesa, the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant, located in one of the most beautiful spots in the Venosta Valley. A true haven for food lovers, this venue celebrates local aromas and flavors. Marc Bernhart invites you on a culinary journey where outstanding local products, refined wines, and modern, refreshing cuisine meet.

The Aurea Mea wellness area, spanning 1,300 m², offers a wide range of facilities: treatment rooms using natural cosmetics, relaxation spaces and whirlpool, and multiple saunas. The new 20-meter outdoor infinity pool, heated to 30°C, promises an unparalleled wellness experience with its fascinating views of the alpine peaks. The recently designed garden and sunlit veranda invite you to moments of calming rejuvenation. In addition, a fitness room and a space dedicated to yoga and meditation complete these wellness facilities.
