Vivere Suites & Rooms is located a stone’s throw from Lake Garda, at the foot of the Arco mountains, in the Trentino region, in northern Italy.
Owners Edy & Miki Longo have transformed a tired old vineyard into a modernist design haven, in collaboration with Milanese architectural firm Genuizzi Banal Architetti. Vivere means “to live” in Italian. The hotel showcases smart architecture, clean and cuboidal structures, which mix raw elements such as local stone walls and rusty steel panels. This audacious and modern construction blends harmoniously into the mountainous landscape.
The intimate hotel consists of six suites, including four suites with integrated kitchenette, and two junior suites. All suites have a private entrance and garden. Independent entrances and private gardens for each of the suites guarantee total privacy. The suites are comfortable, modern and superbly designed, in a contemporary Italian luxury style, minimalist and elegant. Interiors feature neutral tones, polished concrete floors and clean lines, subtle vintage elements and hand-woven fabrics. Large picture windows provide views of the outdoor space and surrounding landscape.
Here, you start the day with a hearty breakfast consisting of mountain teas, breads, cakes, homemade jams, rural cheeses, cold meats and fresh eggs from the farm next door. Vivere produces its own honey, olive oil and wine from surrounding vineyards. There is no restaurant but there are enough nearby with an exquisite gastronomic offer including a family pizzeria.
The hotel has a comfortable and neat lounge with a fireplace, a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds and parasols, and a covered terrace. The wellness area offers a wide range of massages and techniques from Eastern and Western tradition. Pilates and yoga classes are offered in the fitness room.
Bikes are available to explore the countryside, and to the village of Riva del Garda where you can relax on the beach.
