Untitled at 3 Freeman Alley: Hotel in New York
Untitled Hotel at 3 Freeman Alley offers a unique accommodation experience with elegant interiors and modern amenities, for a comfortable and memorable stay.
A new New York hotel on everyone’s lips.
In Manhattan, on the Lower East Side, Atelier Ace, the American brand Ace’s design agency, opened a new concept hotel called Sister City. The hotel is now called Untitled at 3 Freeman Alley.
Nestled on 225 Bowery, in a discreet alleyway and hidden behind a golden door, the Sister City presents a modern and minimalist aesthetic with hints of Japanese and Scandinavian influences.
A contemporary four-story extension in white brick and glass blocks was built to complement the existing 10-story structure. The hotel is decorated in neutral tones with corrugated glass panels, modern furniture, light corridors, and shiny terrazzo floors.
The hotel offers 200 intimate and tasteful rooms. The furnishings, bed frames and cherry wood storage units are reminiscent of “Japanese bento boxes”. Each room includes striped sheets, a custom-made Atelier Ace clothing rack, a Noguchi lantern, and a Bang & Olufsen loudspeaker. The bathrooms are compact and practical, designed with terrazzo sinks and light-colored tiles, equipped with Davines products. On each floor there are self-service areas with a faucet, water jugs, and extra towels.
Self-registration also simplifies arrivals/departures. It is a no-frills hotel with sleek design elements inspired by the philosophy “Less, But Better”.
On the first floor, the garden-terrace restaurant Floret is inspired by the American “diner” style. The Last Light bar is located on the 11th floor and is a casual place offering a unique view of New York City.
Sister City makes you forget that you’re in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple.
