The Hoxton’s first hotel in the USA

The first Hoxton hotel on American soil is located on Wythe Avenue in the trendy Williamsburg district of Brooklyn.

Nestled in the former Rosenwach red brick factory (the manufacturer of the wooden water towers that adorn New York City’s rooftops), the hotel opened in 2018 after its renovation that was orchestrated by Perkins Eastman who worked in collaboration with Ennismore Design Studio for the interiors, and the Soho House for common areas.

The Hoxton Williamsburg consists of 175 rooms divided into three categories named Cosy, Cosy with a View, and Roomy. The rooms have a retro-style atmosphere and include raw concrete ceilings, single-story windows, sage green, burgundy red and navy blue velvet headboards, brass lighting, dark wood shelves, Roberts radios, flipbooks, graphic sheets from the local Dusen Dusen brand, and maps with helpful hints when visiting the neighborhood. All the rooms offer a view of the rooftops of Manhattan or Brooklyn. The bathrooms are authentic New York City style decorated with subway tiles and mosaic floors, with both showers or tubs, and industrial faucets.

As in every Hoxton hotel, breakfast is served on your doorstep. On the first floor, you’ll find Klein’s, a brasserie-style restaurant that offers American-inspired classics in the lobby and from morning until late. The second of the three restaurants, Backyard, has an outdoor mezzanine where you can relax on lounge chairs or play ping-pong. Finally, the Summerly restaurant, located on the rooftop, offers a breathtaking view of the Manhattan skyline. The hotel also has an event space, The Apartment.
