Book The Hoxton Downtown LA

The Hoxton DTLA, a trendy place to stay

The Hoxton DTLA is located at the corner of South Broadway and 11th Street, south of the historic theater district of Los Angeles.

The Hoxton occupies a 1920s Beaux-Arts skyscraper that has been completely renovated, originally built as the headquarters of the LA Railways streetcar company. Ennismore Design Studio collaborated with SoHo House for the interiors design. The lobby on the first floor features Art Deco style elements, floral motifs, bright colors, artwork and geometric designs.

The Hoxton DTLA’s 174 rooms are inspired by the building’s architecture and the diversity and originality of the surrounding neighborhood. Spread over the 10-story building, the hotel’s rooms are divided into four categories. Each room is decorated with wicker bedheads, velvet armchairs, palm-printed cushions, carpets, Roberts radios on bedside tables, herringbone floors, burl wood and House of Hackney linens. The bathrooms feature large Italian-style showers, copper and brass detailing, marble surfaces, zellige tiles and a range of Blank toiletries.

The hotel operates two restaurants. The Sibling Rival, located in the lobby, serves a brunch-style breakfast and comfort food cuisine. At the opposite end of the lobby, there is also a cozy coffee bar and pastry shop. The Pilot Restaurant-Bar and Lounge in rooftop, revisits the best of Mediterranean cuisine. On the roof there is also a lagoon-colored pool that offers a relaxed Californian vibe and a breathtaking view of the Los Angeles skyline.

The new Hoxton hotel will have you on the next plane to LA.
