Riad Le Pèlerin is nestled at the very entrance of the old walled city and is a 10-minute walk from the market square. Riad Le Pèlerin is the ideal spot to experience what Marrakech has to offer without being overwhelmed by hustle and bustle of the city.

This Riad has been renovated by an Italian team including Chiara Toffoli, in collaboration with the interior designer Andrea Bergamaschi and the architectural firm Padus Allestimenti. Le Pèlerin (litterally: the Pilgrim) takes its name from a green chameleon that was found in the Riad during construction, a little nomadic traveler. The Riad’s design was carefully carried out to preserve its history and architecture, with very special attention given to the Riad’s interior decoration and guest experience. For a more environmentally friendly experience, solar panels have been installed on the roof to collect the sun’s energy to heat the entire establishment’s water supply, for a smaller carbon footprint. The furnishings and objects that decorate the Riad have been either handcrafted or purchased from local companies.

Riad Le Pèlerin has 7 rooms, each named after ancient Moroccan Berber villages (Kaouki, Tata, Ouzoud, Isli, Tislit, Tafraout, and Merzouga). Each one is warmly decorated and furnished differently in an authentic Boho style. Each room has a bathroom equipped with a private shower.

The Riad offers a healthy fresh cuisine prepared with ingredients bought daily from local surrounding markets. The Riad’s varied cuisine is a combination of modern and traditional Moroccan cuisine. The Riad also has several common areas, a living room, and a scenic terrace with a beautiful wood table. The Riad suggests a list of organized activities. Riad Le Pèlerin is the perfect place for nomads looking for a peaceful place to rest and recharge their batteries.
