Patina Maldives opened his doors in May 2021, in the paradisiacal archipelago of the Maldives, on the largest of the four Fari Islands of the North Male Atoll.

Patina Maldive is the first property of Patina Hotels & Resorts, a brand new elevated lifestyle brand by Capella Hotel Group. The complex was designed by Studio MK27, based in São Paulo and directed by Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan. The concept of hospitality at the Patina Maldives resort revolves around nature and well-being.

The resort consists of 110 accommodations in total, divided into 90 contemporary villas located between the golden seafront and the stunningly blue ocean, and 20 one-bedroom studios dotted around the village of Fari Marina. Endowed with unassuming elegance and delicate aesthetics, the villas and studios with low architectural lines align perfectly with the horizon of the sea. The structures and their interiors combine a contemporary, simple but luxurious design, neutrals tones, earthy color palettes, natural materials, such as soft woods and stone, subtle textures and matte surfaces, and organic textiles, to create a dialogue with nature. Large floor-to-ceiling windows open to merge the interior and the exterior, and frame the stunning views. Each villa has a private swimming pool.

Patina Maldives offers 12 restaurant concepts including 3 traveling food trucks. Fari Beach Club is the place where gastronomy and relaxation meet under the direction of chef Nick Bril. There’s also Helios, an open-air Mediterranean restaurant, Roots, a plant-based experience focused on organic local produce, and Wok Society, serving Asian fusion dishes.

The wellness area encompasses a variety of quality products, scientific technologies, treatments and facilities, from Watsu and flotation to the steam room, sauna, yoga pavilion, and red light therapy.
