In Zakynthos, Olea All Suite is a unique design hotel with a view over the glimmering Ionian Sea.

Mediterranean architecture and tropical modernism

On the Greek island of Zakynthos, in Tsilivi, atop a picturesque hilltop surrounded by olive trees and greenery, stands the Olea All Suite hotel.

Designed by the Athenian studio Block722 Architects + for the Xenos Hotels group, Olea All Suite opened its doors in 2018.

The hotel combines Mediterranean architecture and tropical modernism. At the heart of Olea is a 4 000 sqm swimming pool resembling a lake with small streams connecting the different areas of the hotel that surround it naturally. The buildings are mainly built with natural materials, such as wood (rustic oak, bamboo and rattan) and whitewashed plaster, which have been skillfully blended to create a luxurious atmosphere in harmony with the surrounding nature.

The hotel offers 93 suites, some of which have a private swimming pool, and all of them have a modernist square-frame terrace connecting the interior to the exterior. The suites are decorated in soft tones and the walls are covered with sand-colored plaster, complemented by tiled stone floors, earthy-colored bed linens, and light-colored wood furnishings. The bamboo lighting fixtures add a touch of tropical exoticism. The bathrooms are arranged with rough wooden planks topped with large stone sinks.

Breakfast is served as a buffet in the the main restaurant with a thatched roof. The hotel has a second gourmet restaurant located high up in the mountains with a breathtaking view and an unforgettable sunset experience. The Cocoon restaurant and bar, with your feet in the sand, offers bit-size meals by the large swimming pool. The hotel is committed to emphasizing wellness with an area including a yoga pavilion, a gym and a spa that uses essential oils made from local herbs.
