Locke at Brocken Wharf

Locke at Brocken Wharf: Hotel in London

Locke at Broken Wharf is a new London design hotel on the banks of the Thames.

Book Locke at Brocken Wharf

New London design hotspot

In the industrial South End of the City, on the banks of the River Thames, a short walk from the Millennium Bridge and the Tate Modern, stands the new Locke at Brocken Wharf.

It is now the independent hotel operator Locke’s fifth address in Great Britain. Locke is inspired by the demands of the contemporary traveler, combining the advantages of a high-end lifestyle hotel with the space and flexibility of an apartment. New York architects Grzywinski + Pons used the structure of a deserted building from the 1970s to create a hybrid space honoring conviviality and hospitality. The original building, which completely renovated from stratch, made it possible to create new contemporary design spaces. The hotel’s furniture has been custom designed with all different types of materials, shapes, colors, and textures; such as wood, polished steel, rattan, copper, terrazzo and ceramics, reflecting the surroundings of the City’s waterfront.

Spread over seven floors, the 113 rooms are all warm and welcoming. They are decorated with natural tones, pastel colors, dark parquet floors, comfortable fabrics, complemented by copper curtain rods and smoked steel end tables. Ceramics, glassware, and floral arrangements can also be found in the rooms.

For dining, Deli Cat & Sons, a modern concept with local flavors, offers a selection of freshly prepared bagels and salads, as well as breakfast and brunch dishes.

On the first floor, the comfortable co-working lobby features soft sofas, potted plants, and private areas. Yoga and fitness classes are also offered.

The hotel is a place of design and gathering, offering a very special experience in the heart of one of London’s most iconic areas.
