At the gates of the Golden Triangle, the Hôtel Singulier stands behind a discreet façade. The traveller is invited to discover an intimate and singular setting in the heart of the upscale district of Gambetta.
At the end of a year’s work, the hotel’s proprietors and designers, have created a new definition of luxury and top-of-the-range hotels.
The hotel offers 8 rooms and suites, each with its own personality, as well as an independent apartment, spread over 3 floors. The rooms, with their romantic atmosphere, are decorated in a modern and refined style with cosy colours, crown mouldings, French wood floors, delicate fabrics, mirrors and luxurious designer lighting. Contemporary furniture such as velvet headboards, wickerwork wardrobes, bedside tables, and sofa endings were designed by Julie herself and crafted with top-of-the-range materials, highlighting the work of local artisans. Each room is a cocoon where time seems like it’s been put on hold. The Audacieuse suite is the most unpredictable room, in a hushed setting, it offers a panoramic view over the rooftops of Bordeaux. The bathrooms, also all very different, are designed with marble, tiles of various shapes and colours, a glass roof, an Italian rain shower, along with a soft bathrobe and amenities courtesy of Galimard. Some rooms feature a stand-alone bathtub in the middle of the room, calling for some well-deserved relaxation.
On the top floor, the hotel is fitted with a rooftop terrace and comfortable benches, for a breathtaking view of the cathedral and the sunset, and on sunny days, you can even enjoy a rooftop breakfast. In the courtyard, a wall of greenery occupies the entire rear façade, like a hanging garden.
