Gundari Resort is nestled on the southeast coast of the charming island of Folégandros, a stone’s throw from the small village of Petousis. Well-connected Folegandros is accessible by regular daily ferries from Athens and Santorini (just 50 minutes by fast ferry).

Situated on steep, dizzying cliffs overlooking the azure depths of the Aegean Sea, this extraordinary oasis, literally part of the landscape, is designed to inspire and invigorate, with wellness, gastronomy and sustainability at its heart.

Gundari Resort is the figment of the imagination of Australian Ricardo Larriera, who aspires to create a truly innovative resort in Folegandros, emphasising pure luxury and sustainability.

The project was carried out by the Greek architectural firm Block722, based in Athens. Perfectly integrated into the landscape, Gundari Resort fuses Greek and Scandinavian design, and is inspired by the tones and wild nature of the island. Stone and wood are present in each space.

The resort consists of 25 suites and 2 villas. The suites are designed with natural materials, marble floors, serene furniture in carefully selected wood and rustic textures. All have a king-size bed, a shaded deck with large day bed lounge, dining table and seats, a private heated infinity pool, an outdoor shower and breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea.

Gundari’s Orizon Restaurant, led by internationally renowned Greek chef Lefteris Lazarou, offers an authentic and contemporary farm-to-table Greek menu, using ingredients sourced from Gundari’s own organic farm, island produce and sea, and some of the best domestic and foreign wines

The underground Gundari Wellness Spa features state-of-the-art hydrotherapy facilities, treatments inspired by ancient Greek traditions, and wild herbs to create an unforgettable wellness experience.
