Galopina Casa Silvestre is located 35 km from Mérida, surrounded by the lower Yucatan jungle. The design of the project was entrusted to Taller de Arquitectura Contextual TACO. The Earth rooms offer an immersion in the endemic vegetation of Yucatan, while the Cielo rooms offer an unobstructed view of the treetops. Interiors feature concrete, natural stone walls, burnished stucco and whitewash paint offering velvety shadows and tones.
