Further is located in Pererenan, the neighboring village of bustling Canggu. Designed by the Italian-Australian office MORQ and decorated by Studio Wenden, this “diffuse hotel” is the symbol of the perfect blend between contemporary design and traditional Balinese culture. The brutalist building is rich in earthy tones and textures. Rooms feature Balinese architecture, incorporating open walls to allow natural light and air to circulate. The minimalist sleeping area with its beds on the floor is next to a semi-open bathroom area. The spaces are dressed in understated luxury, with soft dark linens, black leather, mood lighting and photographs displayed on the walls.
