Épi 1959 Baie de Pampelonne is a property located on Pampelonne beach in Ramatuelle, in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, in the South of France.
Off the beaten track, Épi is a unique place that has been part of Saint-Tropez legend since the 1950s. This institution was created by Jean Castel in 1959 to meet the needs of the jet-set who wanted to spend their vacations discreetly out of sight. The establishment has welcomed numerous international celebrities from the worlds of culture, cinema and business, including Brigitte Bardot, Catherine Deneuve, Audrey Hepburn, Alain Delon, Johnny Hallyday, Serge Gainsbourg, Sylvester Stallone, Madonna and many others.
Owned by the McCourt family since 2018, the hotel was renovated in collaboration with interior designer Monica Damonte and Californian landscaper Madison Cox, who managed to preserve its authenticity while integrating modern elements. Enjoying a preserved natural setting, this sanctuary displays a relaxed, luxurious and unpretentious atmosphere. Offering tailor-made hospitality unmatched anywhere else and highly qualified staff, Épi guarantees an exceptional stay and an unforgettable experience.
Now the most exclusive club on the Mediterranean, the establishment welcomes travelers in nine luxurious bungalows, offering absolute discretion and privacy. The elegant, relaxing decor features natural materials, wood textures and light colors. Each bungalow has its own patio and outdoor rainwater shower.
On the gastronomic front, the restaurant welcomes Italian-born chef Paolo Amadori for the 2024 season. Épi is opening its restaurant for the first time to outside customers (by reservation).
A veritable temple to beauty and well-being, the Spa area offers complete treatments and rituals by Biologique Recherche brand, a boutique by New York designer Thom Browne and a hair salon by Frédéric Fekkai.
